We are not told when the place was opened, but Kerrigan died in 1901, evidently leaving the management of the place to his children. The Chief doesn't mention how long the place survived Kerrigan's death. Google (for once!) is no help, and I seriously doubt that there's anyone alive today who would remember. %%endtext %%% X:12238 T:POOKA'S DELIGHT (reel), The C:© BB %R:reel %N:This tune serves no real purpose but maybe somebody will like it (or not)) Q:1/4=180 M:4/4 L:1/8 K:D % mix "A7"A,CEG "D"FEDA|"F"=cBAc "G"BGED|"Cm"_E=CEG "D7"FAd=c|"G7"BG=FD "Cm7"_ED=C_B,| "A7"A,CEG "D"FEDA|"F"=cBAc "G"BG ~G2|"G"DGBG "Ddim"D=F_AB|"A7"AGEC "D"D4 :| "A"CEGA "D"d3 A|"Bm7"f3 e "D"dc A2|"C"=c2 Gc EcGc|"A"^c2 Gc EcGc| "D"dcde f2 dA|"G7"BG=FD "Cm7"_ED=C_B,|"A"A,CEG "D"FAdB|"A7"AGEC "D"D4 :| %%vskip 30 %%begintext I'd like to think that there are actually musicians out there in the world crazy enough to try playing this little gem. I ran a Sunday session and produced concerts out there for the original owners, and was happy to return in late 2017 to co-host a new Thursday session. Then covid shut down all the pubs and by the time it lifted, the owner had made other arrangements. Oh well . . . The place hasn't changed much over the years (except the name - it's now "O'Shea's Olde Inne") . I guess those final "e's" are important. %%endtext %%% X:12242 T:PRINCESS GRACE'S MARCH C:© BB 2007 N:For Mike and Trudy Connolly's grand-daughter (a teenager now!)
